How do I know that the rug I am getting is of good quality? It's hard to tell what it feels like over the internet. All of our rugs are of great quality and made to last a lifetime. Check the description of the fibres used to produce the rugs. Be assured that when we say thick and very soft, we mean thick and very soft. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it unused within 7 days for a full refund or exchange. Are the colours and patterns I see on my screen exactly what I will receive? We strive to accurately represent each of our products with a large picture and great detail. Each item is shown as closely as possible to the real colours. However, due to differences in cameras, computer monitors and settings, there may be small colour tone variations. Also, as our rugs are hand made, some variations can exist even between rugs of the same design or batch. Please remember that if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days for a full refund or exchange. But we think you won't be. How long will it take to receive my order? We will normally dispatch your order within 1-3 business days but at times, we may take longer but always within 21 days. We do try to maintain adequate stocks of the items on our site. It is normally not possible to order something which is out of stock but if due to unexpected demand, your item becomes out of stock, we will advise you of the anticipated delivery date and we will always give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. In any case, we will not charge your credit card until the goods are dispatched. How do I make a return if an item is not what I expected? We happily accept returns of undamaged and unused items within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. Just call or email to let us know that you are returning the item, wrap it in the original packaging or other similar strong packaging, and return it to us, carriage and insurance paid by you, to the address below: Rugs and Stuff What do I do if an item arrives damaged? Please inspect all merchandise immediately upon receipt and let us know via email or phone if there is anything wrong. Please wrap the item in the original packaging or other similar packaging and await collection by our courier. We will then immediately get a replacement item out for you. Is it safe to place a credit card order online? Shopping over the Internet using modern secure data encryption is very safe, much safer than giving your credit card to a waiter in a restaurant. Any information held on our server is deleted once the order is received by us and even before that, it is encrypted to the strongest legally allowed encryption level and cannot be read by anyone other than us. But if for any reason you are unhappy to purchase online or you don't own a credit card, please order as normal selecting "Send credit card details separately" at the final checkout stage and then fax/phone the credit card details or "Invoice and payment before delivery" and send the cheque to us by post. Alternately you can bypass the web site completely and order by letter, fax or phone but please note any cheques must clear into our account before we are able to dispatch your goods. Cheques should be made out to "Rugs and Stuff". Can I talk to a real person to place my order or ask questions about the products? Yes! Feel free to call us on freephone 0800 0612 162 between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday. Outside these hours, it's probably worth a try, you can always leave a message. We will often respond immediately to e-mails received outside those hours. Postage and handling is free for orders over £10 (for most of UK Mainland), otherwise a small charge of £1.95p will be charged at the checkout. We regret that at present, we only ship free to the UK. Please contact us for a quotation to other destinations. Can I have the order delivered to another address? No problem. Just follow the instructions during the ordering procedure. But for security purposes, please ensure that the cardholder address you enter during the ordering process is correct.
