We don't have expensive retail premises to look after and pay for and we are able to pass on the cost savings to you.

Making Your Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store and select any items that you wish to buy by adding them to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selections, click on " Checkout".
We recommend that you register your details on the site before ordering. This will enable you to check on the progress of your order online and will make future purchases quicker. Please make a note of your password for future use. For your peace of mind, credit card details are not retained.
Once you have confirmed delivery details, you will be transferred to a secure server where your credit card details will be sent to our clearing company (Barclaycard or PayPal). We do not even get to see your card number. Online credit card transactions using modern encryption systems are the safest way of purchasing on the internet.
If you feel happier to phone us your credit card details, do so on 01243 551886. We can also accept cheques sent to us by snail mail but these must clear into our account before we can dispatch the order.
Postage & Handling
We don't charge extra for postage and handling. We regret that at present, we only ship to the UK. Please contact us for a quotation to other destinations.
We will normally dispatch your order same day or the day after your order but at times, we may take longer but always within 7 days. We do try to maintain adequate stocks of the items on our site. It is normally not possible to order something which is out of stock but if due to unexpected demand, your item becomes suddenly out of stock, we will advise you of the anticipated delivery date and we will always give you the option to cancel your order.
Credit Card Security
Shopping over the Internet using modern secure data encryption is very safe, much safer than giving your credit card to a waiter in a restaurant. But if for any reason you are unhappy to purchase online or you don't own a credit card, please order as normal selecting "Pay by Telephone" at the final checkout stage and then fax/phone the credit card details. Alternately, you may pay by bank transfer. Cheques must clear into our account before we are able to dispatch your goods. Cheques must be made out to "Rugs and Stuff".
Our Guarantee, Returns and Complaints Procedure
We guarantee your complete satisfaction. If you have changed your mind or are not satisfied with any of the goods you bought, for whatever reason, return them to us, unused and undamaged, within 14 days of receipt and we will refund the purchase price (normally within 7 days). Before returning the goods, please drop us a line by e-mail and include a short description of the reason for your dissatisfaction. The cost of the return postage is paid by you. Please note that cut-to-order underlay cannot be returned unless faulty.
This guarantee does not cover accidental damage.
It goes without saying that we will immediately replace, at our cost, any goods which arrive to you in a faulty condition. Complaints will be dealt with fairly and confidentially. We promise to acknowledge any complaints within 5 days of receipt. We will advise you a likely timescale for resolving the dispute. We promise to keep you informed about the progress of the dispute. We will continuously monitor complaints so that our service can be improved.
The above guarantee in no way affects and is in addition to your statutory rights.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of the products ordered by you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.
